I began to search right away and found Lauren & JC's cabin. I was able to book immediately and they were extremely accommodating to us! It was like stepping into a different world! The vibe the space and peace of this home was truly what we wanted to experience! We wished we could have stayed longer. This home is loved and curated for big families who value quality time and togetherness. Our dogs loved the deck around the house as well as our kids. We can not wait to return. Thank you for saving us from that horrible nightmare!!

  To preface, our stay was short but sweet. Juan and Lauren were awesome hosts. They were extremely welcoming and detailed.

Aside from some cleaning issues, Gray Rock Cottage... read more nails the entire cottage vibe from the counters to the accent pillows. The layout was great! There were 10 of us, and no one was excluded from a conversation unless you were either upstairs or outside. Many laughs were had.

On a final note, because our stay was so short, we handled some of the cleaning issues ourselves. However, I'm confident Juan and Lauren would've gladly stepped in at any time to handle these issues.

If you are going to stay here, keep in mind that the upstairs bathroom is a bathtub only, which means there is only one shower in the home. We cooked all our meals at the home and if you are going to the same, I would ask the host what cooking supplies are available so you know what to expect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The house is very warm( we stayed in December) has a lot of light and has a big terrace.
There are a lot of board games provided, a lot of warm blankets, and kitchen is equipped with everything that you need.
There was even a Christmas tree, that was a nice surprise for us.
Juan responded immediately to all our questions, and was very helpful.

  Lauren's place was a great place for a getaway with our family! We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning and grilling out at night. The place is beautifully situated... read more in a shady residential area which helped in the heat wave. Also just 15-20 mins from the restaurants, shops, and activities in Big Bear village. Even in a heat wave, the upstairs AC units kept the bedrooms cool at night (just be sure to give them time to work before you want to go to bed). When we had an issue with the fridge, Lauren was immediately responsive and sent someone over to look at it. Great place and great host!
